Youth and Family Services is hiring a Recreation Program Assistant to coordinate inclusion services across the section. The Recreation Program Assistant will work with program supervisors and front line staff to develop and implement inclusion and behavior support plans for youth in recreation programs. The RPA will support direct leadership staff in implementing inclusion services through trainings, assessments, coaching and direct service. This evolving position will require the successful candidate to work with a variety of programs that will differ in delivery, expectations and supervisors. Flexibility and communication will be the keys to success.
Assists with the implementation of comprehensive year-round recreation programs as assigned with an emphasis on inclusion services. Coordinates day-to-day activities related to inclusion services within guidelines and provides lead directive over temporary staff. Provides a safe environment for learning in a variety of community programs.
