A message from a fellow WSTRA member, Jacki Williford at Seattle Children’s…
I would like to invite TR Professionals to the PTWA Conference on Saturday, October 3rd. I have the privilege of presenting with a fabulous team at this event from 9-5 at Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue. We would like to have a inter-professional audience to help in the active learning discussions about improving the participation of children with disabilities in recreation and leisure activities. You can register for just the one day course or other courses too. Community organizations that provide leisure, recreational, and sport activities for children with disabilities will be present in the exhibit hall and we will be providing lots of resources on how rehab professionals can help improve the participation of children with disabilities. ~Thanks, Jacki

Is it a possibility that we could get CEU’s from attending this conference? Do we need to register to be able to come for your presentation on Saturday? It looks like the conference is going on for two days. Thank you for posting the information!
