Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is looking for passionate, caring and experienced Recreational Therapist to join our team. This is a full time days position, including rotating weekends.

Wellfound is a joint venture between CHI Franciscan Health and MultiCare Health System. The hospital is a not-for-profit 120 bed hospital located in Tacoma, Washington. We aim to provide safe, patient-centered, evidence based and trauma-informed care in collaboration with patients, families, and communities.

We will be offering inpatient for general psychiatric, observation/short stay, and higher psychiatric acute care.

We will also have a crisis stabilization unit (CSU) that will serve as a 24/7 receiving site for first responders, providing direct patient transport by law enforcement, ambulance, fire and medic services.

We offer competitive pay, shift differentials and benefits.

What We Require:
• Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation from an accredited college or university.
• One year experience in psychiatric/mental health setting.
• Washington State registration to practice recreational therapy.
• BLS card through American Heart Association or Red Cross required
• Current National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification preferred
